If you suffer from insomnia doctors have found a simple, inexpensive way to help... Granted you may look a little like Steven Segal, but they say those amber colored glasses that you see being used at gun ranges can help you fall asleep.

Doctors say by wearing the glasses two hours before you're ready to go to sleep it will help keep your melatonin levels at the proper level, so you are able to fall asleep and get a longer and deeper night's sleep.

Doctors say insomnia is a growing problem, the culprit, our screens! Smart phones and tablets generate blue light which lowers our melatonin levels, and ultimately affects our sleep patterns.  The amber lenses block the blue light and therefore help you get a good night's sleep.

Doctors said they recommend patients wear the tinted lenses because it's easier to get them to wear the glasses than getting them to part with their phones and tablets.
