There is no denying that the Philadelphia Eagles had a special season, capped off by their first ever Super Bowl victory against the New England Patriots, lead by quarterback Tom Brady.  After losing their star QB Carson Wentz to a season ending injury, no one thought the Eagles had a shot at winning the NFL championship, except the Eagles.  Their backup QB Nick Foles, who is working on becoming a pastor, lead the team and shocked the sports world with a Super Bowl victory over the heavily favored Patriots.

What made them different?  Why was there such a buzz about this team?  How could they continue to have hope after losing their star QB for the season? The answer is simple... FAITH!  As the season unfolded, the world became aware that there was something special about this team; the glue that held them together was their faith in God. That is precisely why the Philadelphia Eagles won the 2018 Sports Impact Award at this year's K-LOVE Fan Awards; it is the first time this prestigious award has been given to an entire team.

Whether you are a sports fan or not, you can appreciate how faith is what this team credits being the reason for the special year that they had.  Chris Tomlin sat down with the Eagles QB's Carson Wentz and Nick Foles to get their story and award the team their K-LOVE Fan Award.

Nick, Carson and other members of the Eagles have a passion to share their faith with others and are doing that through the “The Faith Playbook - Conversations About Life & Faith”, a presentation that you can use to share the Gospel with your own family, friends, co-workers or church group.
