Do you ever feel confused about what God wants you to do? I do. I tend to overthink things way too often. In fact, it's often when I'm “overthinking” that I get the most stressed out!

But, figuring out what God wants from us is really a lot simpler than we make it sometimes.

This morning I read a paraphrase of Psalm 119:2 and it said “You're blessed when you stay on course, walking steadily on the road revealed by God. You're blessed when you follow his directions, doing your best to find him. That's right---you don't go off on your own; you walk straight along the road he set.”

    Isn't that good?!

Knowing where God is leading is not really as complicated as we might think! I don't need to know what he wants me to do next year. I don't even need to know what he wants me to do tomorrow. I just need to seek him…doing my best to find him…and stay on course…walking the road that he reveals to me…in his time. It's like that classic gospel song “One day at a time.”

I can exhale, knowing that he will lead each step. All I have to do is cling to him.
