If you're like me, a majority of the time we try to do things in our own power. No matter what it is. It can be big or small, spiritual or just part of everyday life. Then we finally realize we can't do it. At least not well, and sometimes not even adequately.

At last we do what God was wanting us to do all along. Call out to Him.

I was chatting with Him a while back about some issues. I wasn't happy about them. I wanted something to happen…in my way…in my timing…like now. Eventually I threw in the towel. I decided it wasn't going to happen, not the way I want it to be or when. I shoved it all back at God. Told Him, “It's all yours…I made it a mess. Take it, do whatever you want.”

And I'll never forget the words I heard back. It wasn't in anger or vengeance. It was calm and peaceful. He said, “I can work with that.”

I know I'm redeemed, chosen, a friend of God. I'm a saint saved by Grace. But I mess things up. I need His help. And His answer is always, “I can work with that.”

Whatever you're going through right now, highs, lows, ups, downs, ins or outs, He can work with that.

Matthew 11:28  Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens and I will give you rest.”

Or “Hey come to me, lay down your issues, your troubles, your heavy lifting. Let go and give it all to Me. I can work with that.”

     And He will.
